Alternatively, it should be noted that the delicate construction of the cranial bones and the absence of interalveolar septa are features found only in juveniles of living crocodylians ( Ferguson, 1985), although septa are absent in adults of some basal mesoeucrocodylians (e.g. Lecuona & Pol, 2008).
The fossils from a single horizon fall into at least three distinct size classes represented by the following specimens: small, LACM 120492 About LACM ; medium, LACM 120455 About LACM (holotype) and 120483; large, LACM 115726 About LACM , 120492 About LACM , 120494 About LACM , 120456 About LACM , and 128306 .
