Diagnosis: Vein r slightly longer than vein 2RS; pterostigma evenly brown; vein r-m well developed, areolet closed ( Fig. 6f View FIGURE 6 ); metacoxa brown to black ( Fig. 6d View FIGURE 6 ); T1 slightly arched (barrel-shaped); T1 length 1.60–1.70× its maximum width; T1 black and rugose; T2 black and rugulose; T3/T2 length: 2.00–2.20; T3+ smooth and yellow with almost medial brownish band ( Fig. 6g View FIGURE 6 ); ovipositor sheaths slightly shorter than metatibia ( Fig. 6d View FIGURE 6 ).
Notes: Recently C. taftanensis was described as a new species in south of Iran, and in this study this species is recorded for the first time in the north of Iran.
Distribution in Iran: Sistan-o Baluchestan, Kerman, Kermanshah ( Ghafouri Moghaddam et al. 2018), Guilan and Mazandaran provinces (current study). General distribution: This species has only been reported from Iran
