Ampullaria moesta Reeve, 1856c : pl. 20, fig. 92. Type material — syntype: NHMUK 20140839 (1 spm.); possible syntype: NHMUK 20140840 (1 spm., misidentified, is layardi Reeve). Type locality —“ Ceylon ”. Distribution — Sri Lanka.

Remarks. Valid species, teste G.B. Sowerby III (1910: 60) and Kobelt (1912b: 75). Pila , teste Preston (1915: 101).
