The subfamilies Megalopodinae include four species from two genera ( Poecilomorpha Hoppe, 1840 and Temnaspis Lacordaire, 1845 ) in the fauna of Russia, the distribution of which is limited to the south of the Russian Far East. They live mainly in broad-leaved and cedar-broad-leaved forests; adults and larvae feed and develop on woody plants and bushy from the families Fabaceae and Oleaceae , and perennial lianas from the family Dioscoreaceae ( Medvedev, Roginskaya 1988; Dubeshko, Medvedev 1989; Jolivet, Hawkeswood 1995; Li, Liang 2013; An 2015; Rodriguez-Miron, 2018). The Species of the genus Aprostocetus Westwood, 1813 ( Eulophidae ) parasitize on them ( Li, Liang 2013).
