Adult ( Figs 9E ; 12A ): Forewing length 3.5–5.5 mm (wingspan 8.0– 12.5 mm) (n=9) ( Oku & Kusunoki 2018: wingspan 10.5–12.0 mm). See also Kim & Park (2009: Fig. 27 : misidentified as C. yomogiella ); Park (2014: Pl. for adults, Fig. 32: misidentified as C. yomogiella ); Oku & Kusunoki (2018: Fig. 6 ).

Male genitalia ( Figs 15C, D ; 23E ): See also Park & Baldizzone (1992: Figs 8, 8a : misidentified as C. yomogiella ); Kim & Park (2009: Figs 49–49b: misidentified as C. yomogiella ); Park (2014: Figs 32A–C: misidentified as C. yomogiella ); Oku & Kusunoki (2018: Fig. 14 ).

Female genitalia ( Figs 18D ; 23F ): See also Kim & Park (2009: Fig. 66: misidentified as C. yomogiella ); Park (2014: Fig. 32E: misidentified as C. yomogiella ); Oku & Kusunoki (2018: Fig. 21 ).

Larval case (leaf miner): Tubular silken case (trivalved). See Oku & Kusunoki (2018: Fig. 28 ).

Host plants. [ Asteraceae ] Artemisia montana (Nakai) Pamp. ( Oku & Kusunoki 2018) .

Distribution. Japan, Korea ( Oku & Kusunoki 2018).

Remarks. Oku & Kusunoki (2018) remarked that four examined specimens (three males and one female) identified as C. yomogiella in Korea by Kim & Park (2009) [the same in Park (2014)] are referred to as C. montaniella , as their genitalia align with the characteristics of C. montaniella . Park & Baldizzone (1992) first reported C. yomogiella from Korea with a single male collected from “Chuncheon-si, Gangwon-do, KOREA ” on “May, 15 1985”, which is also included in the four examined specimens by Kim & Park (2009). The inclusion of Korea in the distribution of C. yomogiella by Baldizzone (1989b) was made in anticipation of the publication by Park & Baldizzone (1992). Despite this, due to an oversight, this species still appears as C. yomogiella in the list of Korean Coleophoridae . Therefore, we decided to correct this oversight and exclude C. yomogiella from the Korean list until the occurrence of C. yomogiella is confirmed by authentically identified specimens.
