Notes
Some Hydrochus farsicus View in CoL samples were recorded by Mart et al. (2009a) as Hydrochus ibericus View in CoL because of similarities between these species. After Hydrochus farsicus View in CoL was identified as a new species by Hidalgo-Galiana et al. (2010) from Iran, we rechecked the samples and found out that they most closely resembled the Hydrochus farsicus View in CoL (especially the aedaegus). An illustration of the aedeagus of Turkish H. farsicus View in CoL is shown for further comparison ( Figure 1).
