This very rarely collected species was formerly known from only four specimens. The following 69 specimens comprise many new collecting records, new depository records, and new state records for Sinaloa, Mexico, and Louisiana, U.S.A. Currently known from disjunct localities: Mexico: Baja California, Sinaloa, Veracruz; U.S.A.: Louisiana, Texas.
