The new record below documents a new locality, the first for Chiapas, Mexico, for this very rarely collected species, raising the number of identified specimens in museum collections from 12 to 23. The species is presently known from Guatemala City View in CoL , central Mexico, and central Arizona.
New record: Mexico: Chiapas, San Cristobal de las Casas (10 km S), 21.v.1981, leg. P. J. Spangler (11 NMNH) .
