3.10. Epilobium fastigiatoramosum Nakai (1919: 9) View in CoL .
Type:— REPUBLIC OF KOREA. Ko-ei (Koje Island), approximately 34°50’N, 128°40’E, in sandy places along streams, where it is quite plentiful, Nakai 3280 ( TI) ( Chen et al. 1992) GoogleMaps .
Distribution: —Tangut, N Hengduan.
Note: — Epilobium fastigiatoramosum is similar to E. palustre Linnaeus (1753: 348) , but can be distinguished by its smaller flower and elliptic leaves. The distribution of E. fastigiatoramosum is exclusively in East Asia, whereas E. palustre is a circumboreal species.
Chen et al. (1992) noted that the “ holotype ” of E. fastigiatoramosum (Nakai 3280) is deposited in TI. However, we are not sure the type status of this specimen according to Art. 9.1. So, we do not determine the status of Nakai 3280 in TI.
