Distribution: —C Nepal, L Yarlung Zangbo, Yarlung Zangbo-Brahmaputra, S Hengduan.
Note: —In many ways, this species is intermediate between one and two locules species. This species appears to occupy an intermediate position in the genus, and can be recognized by the fruits with trace of the second locule but only has single seed ( Boufford 1982).
