Distribution. Vietnam, Laos.

Remark: Some specimens from Laos and Gaoligongshan have more rounded apical structure at the apex of the median lobe of the aedeagus.

Macrolycus venustus sp. nov. ( Figs 29 View FIGURES 23 – 30 , 45, 46, 54 View FIGURES 31 – 54 )

Type material. Holotype, male, China, Guangxi province, Xin’an, Maoershan, 25.–30. v. 2010, Tongbo etc. ( SYSM).

The apex of the aedeagus has a lamellar structure and the apical part does not expand in lateral view as in M. laetus ( Fig. 45 View FIGURES 31 – 54 ).

Description (holotype). Body small, dark brown; pronotum dark brown, elytra testaceous ( Fig. 29 View FIGURES 23 – 30 ). Head small, with flat antennal tubercles separated by a narrow groove. Antennae overlapping four fifths of elytra when inclined, antennomeres 3–11 with slender lamellae ( Fig. 54 View FIGURES 31 – 54 ), Pronotum covered by brown pubescence, anterior margin projected anteriad, posterior angles acute, lateral margin sinuate ( Fig. 29 View FIGURES 23 – 30 ). Scutellum dark brown, straight posteriorly. Elytra subparallel, covered with testaceous pubescence, costa 3 inconspicuous, interstices with irregular punctures. Aedeagus without paramerae, slender; subapical part of aedeagus widened, constricted gradually distad; apex of aedeagus with narrow notch and ventrally inclined lamella ( Figs 45, 46 View FIGURES 31 – 54 ).

Measurements. Length 9.55 mm, width at humeri 2.15 mm, pronotum length/width 1.40/1.65 mm.
