World distribution. Chile.
Chilean distribution. Restricted to Juan Fernández Islands ( Fig. 170 View FIGURE 170 ).
Altitudinal range. The species inhabits native forests in ravines and cliffttops (200– 600 m.a.s.l.).
Biology and notes. Allograpta robinsoniana is only found in the Juan Fernández Islands. This species has been classified as EN due to habitat loss and its predation by the invasive species as Turdus falcklandii magellanicus King and Capra hircus (Linnaeus) also contributes to this problem by eating endemic plants the larvae use for their development. Nothing is known about the biology of this species.
Conservation status. EN under B1ab (iiii) + 2ab (iii) using EOO = 542 km 2, AOO = 24 km 2 and two localities (or subpopulations).
