World distribution. Peru and Chile.
Chilean distribution. From Arica y Parinacota to Metropolitan region ( Fig. 170 View FIGURE 170 ).
Altitudinal range. From inland valleys to highland ecosystems (513– 2,950 m.a.s.l.).
Biology and notes. Allograpta piurana has been associated mainly exotic plants such as E. pectinatus (Susana Delgado, CSP record); Myoporum sp. (Rodrigo Castillo, CSP record); Rosa sp. (Victoria Kunst, CSP record); T. officinale (Eduardo Salinas and Victoria Kunst, CSP records), Phoenix dactylifera L. (Victoria Kunst, CSP record), and Veronica persica Poir. (Orlando Montes CSP record).
Conservation status. LC; EOO = 64,393 km 2, AOO = 44 km 2, 11 localities (or subpopulations).
