Type locality and data. “ Peru. Puno ” (T, ♂, OHSU) .
Material examined. Antofagasta: 2♀, Mucar, 18.I.1967, Leg. L.E. Peña ( MEUC) .
References. Fluke, 1951a: 476 (desc.); Thompson et al., 1976: 97 (cat.).
World distribution. Bolivia, Peru and Chile.
Chilean distribution. Only recorded from Antofagasta region ( Fig. 39 View FIGURE 39 ).
Altitudinal range. This species could inhabit ecosystems between 3,000 and 4,000 m.a.s.l.
Biology and notes. Dolichogyna hinei is here reported from Chile for the first time. Nothing is known about the biology of this species.
Conservation status. DD; AOO = 2 km 2 and one locality (or subpopulation).
