World distribution. Peru, Bolivia and Chile.
Chilean distribution. Recorded in altiplanic towns in Arica y Parinacota and from Biobío regions ( Fig. 220).
Altitudinal range. From inland valleys to precordillera ecosystems (200–1000 m.a.s.l.).
Biology and notes. Toxomerus incaicus is here reported from Chile for the first time and is associated with highlands ecosystems. All basic aspects of its biology and ecology remain unknown.
Conservation status. EN under B1ab (iii) + 2ab (iii) using EOO = 4,134 km 2, AOO = 12 km 2 and 5 localities (or subpopulations).
