Comments. Female Pycnoplectus Casey cannot be reliably identified. These female specimens are probably representative of the three species that have been collected in GSMNP. Range : northeastern North America , south to Florida, west to Oklahoma and Michigan. Habitat : log mold, stump mold, tree holes, and leaf litter. Collection Method : sifting/ Berlese , at lights, emergence. Biology : unknown, members of this subfamily are predacious.
