Range: northeastern North America south to Florida, west to Ohio. Habitat: poorly known. Collection Method: hand collecting, emergence. Biology: collected from under pine bark, associated with woody debris, adults have been collected year round. Pace (1989) reported Casey (1906) taking this species under bark of old chestnuts, but no mention of this could be found. Present Study: not significantly associated with any substrate or forest type.
