Type material. Holotype male, CHINA: Xizang Autonomous Region, Nyalam County, Zham Town, VIII.1987, light trap, C. Deng (BDN No. 08061).
Diagnostic characters. The entire body of this species is greenish yellow, which is unique in the genus. The species also differs from other described species of the genus Microtendipes in the shape and structure of the superior volsella.
Etymology. The species is named after the type locality, using the Latin suffix ensis, denoting place of origin.
Male imago (n = 1)
Total length 5.30 mm. Wing length 3.30 mm. Total length/wing length 1.61. Wing length/length of profemur 2.36.
Coloration. Entire body greenish yellow.
Head. AR 1.82. Temporal setae 18, including 5 inner verticals, 9 outer verticals, and 4 postorbitals. Clypeus with 26 setae. Tentorium 175 m long, 75 m wide. Palpomere lengths (in m): 40, 60, 300, 355, 450. L: 5th/3rd 1.50.

Thorax ( Fig. 21 View FIGURES 21 – 25 ). Dorsocentrals 17, acrostichals lacking, prealars 5. Scutellum with 20 setae.
Legs ( Fig. 23 View FIGURES 21 – 25 ). Distal half of front femur with 30 proximally directed setae in 2 rows, 200 m long. Spur on median tibiae 38 m long including 38 m long comb, unspurred comb 38 m long; spur on posterior tibia 50 m long including 38 m long comb, unspurred comb 38 m long. Width at apex of front tibia 80 m, of middle tibia 80 m, of hind tibia 70 m. Lengths (in m) and proportions of legs:
Hypopygium ( Figs. 24–25 View FIGURES 21 – 25 ). Anal point 78 m long, slender, pointed. Tergite IX with 7 setae medially and 22 setae along posterior margin. Phallapodeme 37 m long; transverse sternapodeme 63 m long. Gonocoxite 230 m long. Superior volsella ( Fig. 24 View FIGURES 21 – 25 ) 188 m long, with 5 dorsal setae and 1 long basal seta. Median volsella with 2 setae. Inferior volsella 140 m long, parallel sided, with 24 setae. Gonostylus 188 m long, with 10 setae along inner margin in distal 1/2. HR 1.23, HV 2.83.
Distribution. The species was collected in Xizang Autonomous Region in Oriental China.
