Distribution: All over India. Elsewhere: Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Philippines, Africa, Mediterranean basin, Canary Islands, southern Europe to Japan, Korea, and northeast China, south to Yemen, Indonesia, New Guinea, Australia, Solomon Islands, and Pakistan ( Bodlah et al., 2016).

New Distribution: Recorded for the first time from Purna Wildlife Sanctuary, Dang, Gujarat.
