Aegopsis bolboceridus View in CoL species group
This group is characterized by the combination of the following characters: males with carina absent on ventral surface of thoracic horn; clypeus subrectangular, dorsally concave; head longer than wide; pronotum weakly convex. Major males with thoracic horn crossing anterior margin of pronotum almost 2.5 times the vertex length, apex slightly downturned, amplitude between cephalic horns about 1.5 times clypeal length; minor males with cephalic horns straight in frontal view. Males and females with three protibial teeth, galea subtrapezoidal with apex straight. Geographic distribution in the Brazilian Cerrado.
