Amplaria eutypa Chamberlin, 1941 View in CoL , Bull. Univ. Utah 31: 9. Hoffman, 1999, Virginia Mus. Nat. Hist. Special Publ. 8: 208. Shear & Krejca, 2007, Zootaxa 1532: 26. Female holotype from 9 miles north of Placerville, Eldorado Co. California (USNMNH). As the holotype is a female (the holotype vial contains parts of at least three females), the identity of this species remains in question. Shear & Krejca (2007) speculated that this species may be a senior synonym of A. eldora View in CoL ; see the discussion of that species, above. The species has not been recollected and remains known only from the type locality.
