Type material. 7 Syntypes: Lectotype here designated (male): „ Acaguizotla, Guerrero, 3500 ft, Oct. H. H. Smith “ \ „ Type “ [red circle], ( BMNH) . Paralectotypes: (3 spec.): the same data as lectotype ( BMNH); (2 females) : “Chilpancingo, Guerrero, 4600 ft, Oct. H. H. Smith ”, ( BMNH); (1 male) : “ Rincon , Guerrero, 2800 ft, Sept. H. H. Smith ”, ( JHAC) .

Remarks. According the characters mentioned by Beal (1975, 1985) the species belongs to the C. triste species group.

Distribution. Species known from Mexico: Guerrero.
