Type material. 3 Syntypes: Lectotype here designated (male): „ Chilpancingo , Guerrero, 4600 ft, June, H. H. Smith “ \ „Type“ [red circle], ( BMNH) . Paralectotypes: (1 male): the same data; (1 male): „ Ventanas [Jalisco], Mex., 2000 ft., Forrer“; (1 male): „Acapulco, Guerrero, Höge“, all in ( BMNH) .

Additional material. Mexico, Jalisco, Acatlan , 27.vii.[19]41, 1 male, ( JHAC) .

Remarks. According the characters mentioned by Beal (1975, 1985) the species belongs to the C. triste species group.

Distribution. Species is described from Mexico: Guerrero and Jalisco.
