Type material. 4 Syntypes: Lectotype here designated (male): „ Chilpancingo , Guerrero, 4600 ft, June, H. H. Smith “ \ „Type“ [red circle], ( BMNH) . Paralectotypes: (2 males): „Chilpancingo, Guerrero “; (1 male): „Cuernavaca, Morelos, Höge“, all in ( BMNH) .

Remarks. According the characters mentioned by Beal (1975, 1985) the species belongs to the C. triste species group.

Distribution. Species is described from Mexico: Guerrero and Morelos, new for Puebla.
