Recorded by Borg (1932) (as Eriococcus rorismarini (Boyer de Fonscolombe)) as being frequent but nowhere common on Rosmarinus officinalis and Salvia officinalis , from the following localities on Malta: Buskett, Baħrija and Ġnejna. No Maltese specimens have been seen during the present work.
