NOTES: Biology, life history and immature stages unknown. In Namibia frequently observed feeding on flowering Solaniaceae and other families. Common in pitfall traps (probably due to the grounddwelling habit of adults), handcollected, in yellow and blue pans, and hanging traps baited with fermenting fruit, at UVlight and in Malaise traps. Recorded in January to August and October to December; most abundantly in December and February (vide Table 2).
