PeLtIS pIppINgSkOeLDI Mannerheim, 1852, New State Record

Barron (1996) recorded the distribution of this species as “West of the Great Plains, British Columbia south to California, Arizona, and New Mexico ” and apparently was unaware of a Lake County, Montana record (Russell 1968). All Montana records are from west of the Continental Divide. Of the 31 specimens, only two were collected by Lindgren funnels with the other specimens apparently hand-collected .
