Type data: Lectotype female ( HNHM, examined) with the following data label: [light greenish] 17. [handwritten]\ [green label] Minas Geraës Brasil 1897 ex coll. Fruhstorfer [printed]\ C. conspersa Mocs. ♀ [handwritten] det. Friese 1898 [printed]. Subsequent designation: Moure & Seabra (1960).

Type locality: Brazil: Minas Gerais state .

Comment: This species was correctly interpreted by Moure et al. (2007).
