MB06-005727 ; G – Neves (31-07-1955), field number 16; 1 specimen with TL 243 mm. Purchased from local fishermen who had caught it with hook near the beach .
First record for São Tomé Island: Osório (1893) as Anthias furcifer ; in Correia da Costa (1959) as P. furcifer .
