MB06-004049 ; D – Roça Agua Izé (28-09-1954) field sample 20a, 20b, 20c; 3 specimens with SL 75 to 83 mm. Purchased from local fishermen; caught with purse seine .

First record for São Tomé Island: Arnoult et al. (1966) as Gobius guineensis .
