Remarks. Berosus corrugatus is an African species widely distributed in sub-Saharan Africa (not in Madagascar) and reaching the southern Palearctic region along the Nile River ( Schödl 1995; Fikáček et al. 2012). Fikáček et al. (2015) did not include the Egyptian distribution of this species in a catalogue of Palearctic Coleoptera .
