Remarks. Condylostylus imitator is a common species in South Africa. However, it is recorded for the first time from the Ndumo Game Reserve at the border of the far northeast district of KwaZulu-Natal Province with Eswatini (formerly Swaziland) and Mozambique. The boundary Maputo River unites wetlands of these countries; so, the species is likely to occur in Eswatini and Mozambique as well. Condylostylus imitator is a rare inhabitant of Namibian wetlands.
Distribution. Botswana, DR Congo, Kenya, Namibia, South Africa, Tanzania, Zimbabwe.
