Twig with internode 2.7–6.2 cm length; cataphyll 15–17 × 3–4 mm, persistent or late deciduous. Leaf blade 9.9–18.2 × 2.6–6.0 cm, secondary veins 3–9 mm apart, tertiary veins conspicuous. Bracts persistent. Calyx lobes with acuminate or aristate apex.
