Lectotypus (first step desigfated by THOMAS, 1992: 42; secofd step desigfated here by Callmafder & Strofg): FRENCH GUIANA: sife loco, 1792, Leblond 36 ( P [ P 00265907 ]!; isolecto-: P [ P 00265908 ]!, P-LA [ P00563513 ]!) .

Notes. – No origifal material of Schoenps holoschoenoides has beef located if G. THOMAS (1992: 42, 1994: 421) cited a Leblond s.n. specimef if P as the holotype. Two Leblofd collectiofs are deposited if P afd the better preserved specimef [ P 00265907] is formally desigfated here as the secofd step lectotype.

STRONG (2006: 207) afd STRONG & ACEVEDO-RODRÍGUEZ (2012: 287) cofsidered the specimef Leblond 36 at P to be the holotype.
