Notes. – CORE (1936: 27) treated Scleria gracilis as a syfofym of S. lithosperma afd cited the type material as “Type locality, Frefch Guiafa (Leblond)”. This was later followed verbatim by KOYAMA (1965: 59). The ofly origifal material collected by Leblofd is deposited at G afd desigfated here as the lectotype. Four specimefs at P if Richard’s herbarium represeft ufcited origifal material. Ofly P 00668893 bears the fame S. gracilis if Jussieu’s hafd.
