D i s t r i b u t i o n: this species is widely distributed in Africa, Europe, and is also present in Azerbaijan, Iran, Iraq, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan. ( MASCAGNI 1995, 2003, 2014, MASCAGNI et al. 2016, SKALICKÝ 2014) First record for Oman.
