Calosoma (Campalita) maderae maderae Fabricius, 1775

Distribution. Egypt, France, Georgia, Greece, Iran, Iraq, Italy, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Malta, Morocco, Pakistan, Portugal, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Syria, Tadzhikistan, Turkmenistan, Turkey, Tunisia, Uzbekistan, and Yemen. This species is cited from the provinces Elburz, Fars, Guilan, Golestan, Golestan, Kerman, Kermanshah, Lurestan, Mazandaran, Razavi Khorasan, Sistan va Baluchestan, South Khorasan, Tehran, and West Azarbaijan by Azadbakhsh and Nozari (2015). New province record for Hormozgan.

Biology. The specimen was collected by hand from under stones in grassland ( Fig. 1 ).
