Type:— ECUADOR. Zamora Chinchipe: Los Encuentros, 10 km en carretera a Jardín del Cóndor, en cerros al lado derecho de la carretera, 03°48’20.6’’S 78°36’45’’W, 1613 m, 08 August 2013, F. Arroyo & A. J. Pérez 292 (holotype QCA [digital image!]).
Etymology:—Named after Frank Arroyo, expert on the taxonomy of the genus and friend of the author.
