Distribution. Widespread Holarctic species; transcontinental in Palaearctic region, occurs from the Arctic to the subtropics in North America. Canada, USA (almost everywhere, including Alaska), Mexico (Tamaulipas, Morelos).
Biology. Recorded as parasitoid of spiders of the family Dictynidae : Dictyna foliacea (Hentz) ( = volupis Keyserling ) in Massachusetts, USA ( Howard 1888, 1892), Mallos pallidus (Banks) in California, USA ( Vincent 1979), and several Dictyna Sundevall and Nigma Lehtinen species in Europe ( Šedivý 1963; Korenko et al. 2022).
