Distribution in India: Sikkim, Assam, Maharasthra, NE Himalaya. Global records: Sierra Leone, S. Africa, Sri Lanka, Peninsular Malaysia, Borneo, New Guinea, Australia (Hampson 1900; Holloway 1986; Schulze & Fiedler 1996).
Remark: Dudgeonea leucosticta sierraleonensis Strand, 1917a: 89 is reported from Sierra Leone and South Africa.
