4.2. MeJA induction of T. wilfordii View in CoL View at ENA suspension cells
After 10 days of cultivation, MeJA in dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) was added to T. wilfordii cell suspensions (approximately 2 g fresh weight of suspension cells subcultured in 40 mL MS media in 100 mL flasks) at a final concentration of 50 μM. The control group was treated with the same volume of DMSO alone. After 0, 4, 12, 24, 48, 72, and 120 h, the suspension cells were harvested in liquid nitrogen and then stored at 80 ◦ C until RNA extraction. Three biological duplicates were prepared for each time point in each group.
