Remarks. Despite the fact that many specimens were examined, all are females and the male of this species is still unknown, if males exist. Flagellomeres 4–6 bear conspicuous subapical finger-shaped structures on the outer surface ( Fig. 18 View FIGURES 17 – 21 ), as in the genera Phradis and Allophrys . These structures are described in this genus for the first time here.
