Description:— Trierveiler-Pereira et al. (2011: 582)
Habitat and distribution:—on rotten wood. Specimens were collected in fragments of old-growth and secondary upland forests, a type of lowland ombrophilous dense forest. It is known from Africa , North America, South America ,
Asia, Oceania ( Ponce de León 1968). Although it is a common species in the tropics, this is the first record for Amazonia.
