Boana albopunctata was registered in two communities, Curucutu unit of Serra do Mar State Park and Ipanema National Forest. The advertisement call was described based on 57 calls from six males ( Table 2 View TABLE 2 ; Figure 3 View FIGURE 3 ; SM I). It is a simple call, presenting one type note and a pulse-repetition sound ( Köhler et al. 2017), during on average 0.46 seconds. The species can also emit several calls, as shown below ( Figure 3 View FIGURE 3 ) .
