Type data. Lectotype male (designated by Linnavuori, 1993: 79, as Holotype): South Africa , Caffraria (Naturhistoriska Riksmuseet, Stockholm, Sweden).

Distribution. Equatorial Quinea, Ethiopia, Madagascar, Nigeria, Republic of South Africa, Zaire.
