U n t e r s u c h t e s M a t e r i a l: Kasachstan: Zailijskij Alatau , Almatinka, 2500 m, 6.- 9.VI.1993, leg. Schawaller, 1 Ex. ( SMNS) ; Tadschikistan: Semiganč (Hissar), 27.IV.1981, leg. Dvorák, 1 Ex. (cSch) .

Mycetoporus lepidus ist transpaläarktisch verbreitet. Die Art wurde unter dem Namen Mycetoporus brunneus MARSHAM [Nomen nudum] aus Kasachstan gemeldet ( KASTCHEEV 1984, PSAREV et al. 1999), bisher waren jedoch noch keine überprüften Nachweise der Art bekannt. Neu für Tadschikistan! Das vorliegende Exemplar ist etwas immatur, zeigt jedoch die für M. lepidus typische Mikroskulptur auf dem Kopf und die für diese Art ebenfalls charakteristischen, zahlreich beborsteten Parameren.
