Examined material. 1♀ (DNA CK813, LT671758 View Materials ), loc. 3, 11–20.vii.2013 (SMTD).

Remarks. Clistoabdominalis trochanteratus represents a complex of several morphologically similar species with an almost worldwide distribution ( Skevington et al. 2007). This species was originally described from Egypt and recently redescribed by Kehlmaier (2005). The Iranian material should be conspecific with the lectotype from Assiut, Egypt.
