Latrunculia crenulata Lévi, 1993 View in CoL incertae sedis
Latrunculia crenulata Lévi, 1993 View in CoL was assigned to subgenus Latrunculia View in CoL by Samaai et al. (2006) despite there being no anisodiscorhabds of normal length and form. Rather, the microscleres strongly resemble the cricophalangasters of Schrammen (1924, Pl. 7, Fig. 41–42, Late Cretaceous of Lower Saxony, northern Germany), and the cricorhabds of Reif (1967, Pl. 13, Fig. 2 View FIGURE 2 , Late Jurassic of the Swabian Alb, southern Germany), figured by Wiedenmayer (1994, Fig. 22.14–15, Fig. 17.27, respectively). These were not identified as being from latrunculid taxa. Latrunculia (L.) crenulata View in CoL has been transferred from subgenus Latrunculia View in CoL to Latrunculia incertae sedis until further material can be examined ( Table 9 View TABLE 9 ).
