HOLOTYPE.— Type specimen lost but imaged in Russell (1796, pl. 43) from “Vizagapatam
[ Visakhapatnam , Andhra Pradesh, India].” LOCALITIES.— No specific locality known. REMARKS.— Sclater (1891:1) mentioned one specimen ( ZSI 12896 ) as “ Typhlops braminus ” from
“ Afghanistan,” collected by the “Boundary Commission.”
