Distribution. United States of America, Mexico, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Puerto Rico, Cuba, Haiti, Jamaica, Trinidad & Tobago, Guadeloupe, Antigua, Grenada, Barbados, Hispaniola, Martinique, Les Saintes, St. Barthélemy, Aruba, Bonaire, St. Martin, Curaçao, Brazil, Colombia, Bolivia, Paraguay, Uruguay, Venezuela, Guyana, Suriname, French Guiana, Argentina, Peru ( Peck 2006; Dos Santos Ferreira et al. 2023; Monné 2024a; Tavakilian & Chevillotte 2024). In Peru, it is recorded from Loreto ( Martins 2002; Monné et al. 2012; Monné & Chaboo 2015; Tavakilian & Chevillotte 2024).
